New boss Martinez is seeking to raise spirits after a heart-breaking defeat at the hands of an inspired Morocco side in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Martinez has named Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in his squad for the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Ronaldo left Manchester United in November before joining Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr, and has netted nine goals in 10 appearances for his new team.
