WHAT HAPPENED?
On Wednesday the British singer posted a photo on her Instagram story modelling Genoa's 130th anniversary shirt. The historic Serie A club will wear the gold kit in their clash with Inter Milan on Friday evening.

In a statement, Genoa CEO Andrez Blazquez said: "Genoa CFC is a historic club, with a cosmopolitan origin and reality. Since the new ownership took over the club, we want to further highlight the powerful Genoa brand and engage with influencers and celebrities who love football and identify with our brand values and history. We believe this is a great way to expose Genoa CFC to new audiences around the world."

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Genoa unveiled the commemorative shirt design in September. When they take to the field in it on Friday they will do so 13th place in the table, 25 points behind Serie A leaders Inter.
