  The German club created history on Sunday as Xabi Alonso led them to their first-ever Bundesliga title after beating Werder Bremen 5-0. Former Arsenal star Granit Xhaka was an integral part of the title-winning Leverkusen squad and contributed with a goal in the team's win over Die Werderaner.

  After the match, while celebrating the historic triumph, Leverkusen full-back Jeremie Frimpong took a dig at Xhaka's former employers as he told the midfielder on his Instagram Live: "We won it, done it! You came from Arsenal, you won it here."
